Since August 2006, Ohioans have been able to access their “unofficial” driving record online at the Ohio BMV’s website. This has been a fantastic resource for clients and attorneys.
This has been an additional resource used in initial consultations with clients to assess their current license status. While the accuracy of the records isn’t “official”, it has proven very accurate and allows clients a realistic expectation of potential costs when hiring an attorney. This I like.
If you would like to view your “unofficial” Ohio BMV record, visit the Ohio BMV Website. Follow the “Online Services” link, then look for “View an Unofficial Copy of Your Driving Record” in a link. Fill in the information, and your Ohio driving record is shown.
